A TV commercial for the IIHF 2011 campaign for Billa [SK] was created for the IIHF 2011 [WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2011 - in Slovakia].
The project had two parts: the first involved shooting Billa products and the second centered on developing and animating the IIHF mascot. After shooting, the material went to editing and then to animation and post production departments. For the shooting, animators prepared a newly developed character called ‘Goooly’ and when cutting was complete, started animation. After some cleaning and color grading by the post production department (and of course some storyboarding, lighting and rendering), the animation was put together as a TV commercial. Main production was done by RETRO Production based on a story by ONYX Advertising.
